About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Supervisor - Patient Experience Specialist to join our team at Prisma Health.

Job Summary

This is a supervisory role that involves overseeing patient care activities, ensuring the delivery of safe and quality care on the unit/service. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of patient care activities, including staff allocation, scheduling, patient assignments, rounds, and investigation/resolution of patient care issues.
  • Coordination of admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring seamless transitions of care between shifts.
  • Interdepartmental coordination to ensure effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare teams.
  • Direct patient care consistent with the charge nurse/clinical registered nurse job description accountabilities.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • At least two years of RN experience in an appropriate area of nursing.
  • Management/supervisory experience preferred.
  • Current R.N. Licensure as recognized by South Carolina.
  • Certified in nursing specialty preferred.
