Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including 3-phase motor control, electromechanical starters, and power distribution systems.
  • Perform general building maintenance and repairs, including lighting and electrical installations.
  • Work with PLC-based control systems, instrumentation, and sensors.
  • Collaborate with the Electrical Manager to ensure safe and efficient electrical systems operation.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required; Associates degree or additional education preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety procedures, NEC electrical construction, and 3-phase electrical systems.
  • Ability to use electrical multimeters, read voltage, current, and resistance, and work at elevated heights.
  • Proficient with computers, Windows environment, and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Rockwell Software Logix5000, 500, Connected Components, and Device Net software.
  • Ability to write original PLC programs based on requirements.
  • Experience with parameter-based drives and soft starters.
  • Industrial networking skills.
Work Environment:

Work primarily outdoors year-round in an industrial environment, averaging 60 hours per week during the hours of 6 pm to 6 am after an orientation period during day shift hours. Longer periods and weekends will occasionally be required. May be assigned to jobs that would require overnight stays for several consecutive days.
