Certification Requirements:
  • ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications are mandatory.
  • Must be ARRT registered in either the CT or MRI registries.
  • State licensure in Oregon is required.
Position Overview:
  • Conducts a range of specialized technical procedures utilizing CT and MRI scanners.
  • Ensures a supportive and professional environment for patients, medical staff, and colleagues.
  • Responsible for all functions of a CT and MRI Technologist.
  • Transfers imaging data from CT or MRI systems into PACS.
Job Expectations:
  • Participates in on-call rotations for 24-hour coverage in CT/MRI.
  • Physical demands range from medium to very heavy, including lifting and transporting patients weighing between 100 to 300 lbs.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with patients, hospital personnel, and physicians.
Work Schedule:
  • One Technologist will work 8-hour shifts from 3 PM to 11:30 PM.
  • Call rotation involves traveling staff rotating on call for four weekdays, with weekends off, followed by four weekdays off and on call during the weekend.
Additional Information:
  • Experience with GE CT equipment is essential.
  • Finding suitable housing with pets can be challenging; special arrangements may be necessary prior to placement.
