QUALIFICATIONS

Required :

Must possess qualifications and experience deemed adequate by the Director of the department and lead technologist to operate equipment and evaluate images obtained.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Lic/Reg/Cert :
Oregon licensure, and ARRT registration in CT or within 12 months of hire date.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
Must pull call on a rotational basis for 24 hour coverage in CT.

Medium to very heavy physical demand (lifting and moving patients 100 to 300 lbs) must be able to work independently as well as with patients, hospital staff, and physicians.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintains a positive and professional atmosphere for patients, physicians and co-workers.
Performs all duties of a CT Technologist.

MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs other duties as assigned.

Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to work in a hospital setting.
