About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. As a key member of our Civil Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing land development projects for residential, commercial, and municipal development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design site and infrastructure improvements, including grading, dry and wet utilities, erosion sediment control, and storm water management
  • Prepare roadway, grading, drainage, water and sewer modeling and plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D or Microstation and Open Roads Designer or CONNECT
  • Prepare traffic, drainage, and utility reports
  • Prepare supporting calculations, construction specifications, and permitting in various jurisdictions
  • Prepare construction cost models and engineer's opinion of probable cost for projects through various stages of development
  • Work within defined scope, schedule, and budget parameters
  • Communicate progress and results to directors, project managers, and project teams
Work Environment

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in District of Columbia and some days remote. We offer a flexible/hybrid work schedule (3 days remote/2 days in office) in a collaborative, supportive, team-first environment.
