Job SummaryThe Family Life Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day coordination of services that support the Case Management Department. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct oversight and leadership to the care coordinator team in accordance with CUA Practice Guidelines and agency standards.
- Establish medical necessity criteria and apply that knowledge in all work activities.
- Monitor program performance in light of key indicators and compile data as requested.
- Implement and maintain operational processes, policies, and procedures to support child welfare care delivery.
- Ensure quality and performance metrics are consistently met.
- Work collaboratively with team members, including assisting with the training of newly hired employees as requested, covering work when peers are out of the office as assigned, and finding coverage when absent.
- Participate in the team building process within the program by using established communication channels in a constructive and productive manner that enhances the team effort.
- Navigate the external provider community and community-at-large effectively for therapeutic, vocational, and recreational supports for clients, thereby promoting community integration and relationship building.
- Collaborate with CBH and other behavioral health programs to ensure quality of care, promote placement of members in the most appropriate services.
- Engage in self-performance appraisal, identifying areas of strength as well as areas for professional development.
- Research, select, and promote adaptation of best practice findings to ensure quality care and optimal outcomes.
- Conduct and document regular supervision bi-weekly.
- Identify needs for staff development and training.
- Identify gaps in service and develop treatment strategies.
- Assure program compliance with governing regulations.
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related degree in a clinical field, including but not limited to: counseling, education, family therapy, and/or public health.
- Three (3) years of direct clinical care experience with strong applied behavior analysis skills working with adults, children, adolescents, and/or their families in behavioral health settings and experience in assessment and treatment planning; and/or experience in a child welfare setting.
- Driver's license with clean driving record.
