We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as the Health Plan Chief Executive Officer. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the overall strategy and direction of our health plan business, ensuring we deliver high-quality care and services to our members.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare leadership, with experience in Medicaid and community-based organizations. You will be responsible for developing and executing market-specific strategies to drive sustainable and profitable growth, while setting the strategic direction to drive business growth.

You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key government sector customer groups, providers, and provider networks within the market. Additionally, you will manage multiple levers of health plan profitability, including rate advocacy, member retention, utilization management, Star performance, and Medicaid Quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute market-specific strategies to drive sustainable and profitable growth
  • Set the strategic direction to drive business growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with key government sector customer groups, providers, and provider networks within the market
  • Manage multiple levers of health plan profitability
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 8+ years of successful leadership experience in leading and managing people
  • 8+ years of P&L and/or extensive budgeting experience as well as strategic planning and development
  • Experience with community-based organizations, FQHC's, and/or Medicaid
  • Relevant experience focused on addressing Social Determinants of Health, Health Equity, and Healthcare Disparities
  • Expert level of proficiency working in a fast-paced matrix organization/environment with an enterprise focus
  • Prior leadership experience in program execution
