Position Overview

Sign-On Incentive:
$20,000

Compensation:
Expected hourly rate is $46.24, subject to adjustment based on experience, skills, and internal equity considerations.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Radiologic Technologist will deliver technical support for various diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include assisting in scrubbing for all diagnostic and interventional tasks, preparing and managing catheters, guide-wires, and other medical devices. The role involves the administration of contrast media and medications from the sterile environment under the guidance and supervision of a physician. Accurate documentation of procedures and patient data in accordance with hospital protocols is essential. The technologist will uphold the mission, vision, and values of OSF HealthCare.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Educational Background:
  • Graduation from an AMA Accredited Radiography Program

Licensure/Certification:
  • Registered with A.R.R.T. and licensed by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).
  • Current CPR BLS certification.

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Educational Background:
  • Associate's degree in Radiography.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of specialized training.
