We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse to join our team at Kaiser Permanente's Rancho Bernardo Medical Offices. Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine patient care, including vital signs, wound care, and medication administration, under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
- Assist with patient examinations and treatments, positioning and draping patients as needed.
- Prepare and transport medical equipment and laboratory specimens.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including charting and filing.
- Participate in Department Quality Assurance activities and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care.
- Vocational Nurse License (California)
- Basic Life Support
- Ability to work effectively with the public and demonstrate knowledge of sterile technique.
- Consistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, and to customers, contracted providers, and vendors.
This is a full-time position, working 1 hour per week, with a mix of day and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays. The home location is Rancho Bernardo, with the possibility of floating to other pediatric sites in the North.
