A Day in the Life of a Registered Nurse (RN)

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you play a vital role in our clinic. Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing total care for our residents, starting with carefully monitoring their condition and needs.
  • Following physician orders to administer medications and treatments, ensuring narcotic policies and procedures are followed, monitoring for side effects, and reporting any changes in the condition of residents.
  • Overseeing the nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff to ensure that resident care plans are being followed.
  • Completing documentation, admitting and discharging residents, and reporting any bruises, skin tears, or neglect that you find when caring for your residents.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and following Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements, as well as upholding our facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN)

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Georgia RN license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
  • A desire to work with the elderly.
Work Schedule

This nurse position works 12-hour shifts.
