Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

At Salon Service Group, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in driving sales growth, maintaining exceptional customer service, and ensuring a high-quality store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and ensuring that all team members meet the highest standards of service.
  • Uphold a high standard of merchandising and operational excellence, ensuring that the store is always visually appealing and well-organized.
  • Communicate effectively with area DSCs to meet and exceed sales goals, and assist with hiring, training, and coaching to retain a team of knowledgeable Associates.
  • Assist with organizing, delegating, prioritizing, and following up to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven retail sales experience with a strong track record of driving sales growth.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible schedule including Saturdays if needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with management/leadership experience preferred.
