Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to the Lead Sanitarian and Culinary team
  • The Sanitation Specialist is tasked with conducting daily sanitation and cleanliness assessments throughout the facility, identifying and rectifying any issues or violations. This encompasses cleanliness and sanitization, employee practices, food handling, temperature management, proper usage and handling of cleaning and sanitizing agents, along with all necessary logging and monitoring documentation.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Chef, Cook, or Prep Cook in a high-volume food service environment
    • Strong understanding of all sanitation and food handling regulations and laws
    • Current ServSafe food handler or manager level certification, or equivalent
