Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Substitute/Aide in our Early Childhood Program. As a Substitute/Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of all children and assisting teachers/caregivers to implement the classroom curriculum and daily routine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain visual and auditory supervision of children at all times, following active supervision procedures.
  • Provide a welcoming environment for children and their family members, ensuring all classroom activities are developmentally appropriate and supportive of children's learning styles.
  • Assist teaching staff with the implementation of daily curriculum, interacting with children at their level to support learning opportunities and encourage problem-solving skills.
  • Participate in family-style meals and maintain a clean, safe, healthy learning environment, responsible for daily visual checks of the classroom and playground environments to ensure safety.
  • Maintain confidentiality of children, families, and co-workers, and maintain professional boundaries in relationships with families and co-workers.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass background checks.

A competitive pay range of $17.50, flexible work hours, and the opportunity to work at different sites with short notice. We also offer a $250 sign-on bonus.
