The chosen candidate will oversee all financial reporting components associated with the program. This role demands a strategic thinker capable of synthesizing knowledge from diverse areas to conduct comprehensive analyses of challenges and leverage those insights to devise effective solutions. Exceptional communication skills, both internally and externally, are crucial for success in this position as collaboration with various functional teams and program stakeholders is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Engage in the formulation of program-level processes and protocols to enhance operational efficiencies.

· Collaborate extensively with the Program Manager, Business Managers, Contracts team, and other functional or support entities.

· Act as a liaison between the Program Team and cross-functional departments to conduct financial research.

· Oversee the monthly invoicing process, encompassing all aspects of Accounts Receivable (aged AR, reconciliation of unbilled balances, rate adjustments, cash collections, etc.).

· Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of all contract costs and financial data.

· Perform monthly Estimate at Complete (EAC) and variance analysis.

· Assist in the monthly closing of financial key metrics (Revenue, Operating Income, etc.).

· Prepare and present financial information during both internal and external program reviews.

· Support the monthly accrual process.

· Address any ad hoc requests from internal management and external clients.

· Demonstrate the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment across various organizational levels.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.

· Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

· Experience in Program Finance with various contract types.

· Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.

· Strong organizational, analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

· Excellent analytical capabilities, with the ability to identify financial drivers and conduct both high-level and detailed analyses.

· Exceptional attention to detail.

· Customer-oriented mindset.

· Proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

· Prior experience in the government contracting sector is preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.

· Familiarity with Leidos Financial Systems.

· Experience with OAC/data query tools.
