Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Medical Outreach Coordinator to join our team at Loma Linda University Medical Center. As a key member of our Managed Care department, you will be responsible for contacting and scheduling appointments for our patient population in compliance with CMS regulatory guidelines. Your strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with others will be essential in performing clerical and outreach activities for various programs and projects within our department.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. Medical terminology course completion required or completed within the first six months of hire. Minimum one year working experience with the Medicare Advantage population within the last five years required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive understanding of EPIC electronic medical record system, preferred.
  • Risk Adjustment terminology knowledge preferred.
  • Able to read; write legibly; speak in English (and Spanish preferred) with professional quality.
  • Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others.
  • Able to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English in writing, in person (also in Spanish preferred), and on the telephone (also in Spanish preferred).
