Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team in Bowling Green, MO. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment plans for clients with substance abuse issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' substance abuse history and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions, including didactic groups
  • Document treatment progress, client responses, and maintain related records and charts
  • Perform case management and contribute to client care monitoring

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field (High School diploma or equivalent required)
  • Previous experience in substance abuse or mental health counseling in a corrections environment is desired
  • Higher credential through the Missouri Credentialing Board (CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP) is a plus
