Job Overview

Eversana is seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team. As a Payer MSL, you will play a critical role in fostering scientific partnerships with key opinion leaders, healthcare practitioners, and payers to support the development and commercialization of innovative therapies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a tactical customer-centric medical engagement plan to support the company's scientific objectives.
  • Conduct scientific exchange with key opinion leaders, healthcare practitioners, and payers to gather insights and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Provide timely clinical, economic, and scientific product updates to formulary decision makers and other external customers.
  • Establish and maintain scientific relationships with key external customers, including payers and healthcare organizations.
  • Collaborate with the Market Access team to engage payers and key decision makers, and provide scientific support for internal and external activities.
  • Develop and deliver scientific training and education programs to internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with regional specific healthcare systems, health economics, and outcomes research, and apply this knowledge to support field-based activities.
Requirements
  • Advanced science or clinical degree (PharmD, M.D., DO, Ph.D.) with one or more years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience, or a Master's level degree in health sciences with three or more years of relevant experience.
  • Four or more years of experience as a MSL within the respective therapeutic area with primary emphasis on payers or Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR).
  • Knowledge of regional specific healthcare systems, HEOR, and payers, as well as a deep understanding of US healthcare industry trends and the US healthcare delivery system.
  • Ability to translate data-driven evidence into decisions, discussions, and actions that align with customer needs.
  • Senior-level influence and credibility, with the ability to engage senior executives both in customer companies and external organizations.
  • Strong business acumen, with proven ability to apply health outcomes programs or research findings to impact market access decisions.
