Job Description

As a Project Engineer with R.E.Y. Engineers Inc, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and construction management of public infrastructure projects. Under the direction of a Project Manager, you will perform field and office civil engineering work, conducting plan checks, preparing project schedules, and developing plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct plan checks and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Prepare project schedules and coordinate engineering activities with contractors and agencies
  • Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates for infrastructure projects
  • Monitor tasks for conformance with scope, schedule, and budget
  • Perform construction management and inspection services
  • Support marketing and business development activities
Qualifications and Education Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an Accredited University
  • Professional Engineer Licensure (PE)
  • A valid California Driver's License
Preferred Skills

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in roadway, water, wastewater, and/or stormwater design projects
  • Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD - Civil 3D
  • Knowledgeable in the use of water, wastewater, and stormwater modeling software
  • Ability to assist in managing projects
  • Experience preparing design studies, plans, specifications, and estimates
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite software
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Adept at working in a team environment, as well as independently
