Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist with laundry operations, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for our residents and staff. As an Environmental Services Specialist, you will be responsible for sorting and processing soiled linen, folding and delivering clean laundry, and maintaining the cleanliness of the laundry area.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and process soiled linen, including emptying barrels, sorting, and loading machines
- Fold and deliver clean laundry to designated areas
- Collect and process soiled bibs and tablecloths from food service
- Process personal items, hang, and deliver
- Clean and maintain the laundry area, including sweeping floors, wiping down machines, and checking lint traps
Requirements:
- Pass a drug screen and background check
