We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Janitor. As a key member of our theatre operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with the General Manager to prioritize cleaning tasks and schedules
  • Perform thorough cleaning of theatre and theatre property, including auditoriums, lobby, restrooms, and concession stands
  • Maintain carpets and floors, including vacuuming, shampooing, and removing gum
  • Clean and disinfect all areas, including projection booths, office areas, and storerooms
  • Inspect theatre and theatre property to ensure all is clean and in good working order
  • Report any issues or concerns to the General Manager
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Requires regular and consistent attendance
  • Has an energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
  • Provides excellent Guest service
  • Interpersonal skills include the ability to communicate with all ages, genders, and personalities
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Ability to take and follow direction
  • Responds with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to maneuver in limited-space areas
  • Ability to safely mix chemicals and dispose of used chemicals in compliance with state and local regulations
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and reaching around the theatre
  • Noise level may be moderate to high at times
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
