  • Be an Expert: Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs, operate baking equipment, follow recipes/make-up instructions, and ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management.
  • Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement, utilizing handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
  • Be an Owner: Ensure commitment to operational excellence, maintain a clean and organized work area, ensure quality and date control standards for bakery items, and secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Be an advocate for the department and the company, value the member's experience, and model high-quality service and products.
