We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Bowlero Corporation. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our nationally recognized menus, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Management: Adhere to our mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs, ensuring that our culinary standards are met and exceeded.
- Financial Management: Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow as it relates to food operations, reviewing monthly profit and loss statements and making adjustments as necessary.
- Event Planning: Work with our operations team and sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute all banquet functions, including the preparation and service of food and refreshments, as well as clean-up.
- Staff Management: Partner with our kitchen manager and general manager to address and resolve disciplinary issues, foster a team work environment, and ensure that our staff is equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
- Quality Control: Ensure that our product quality, freshness, and presentation meet our company standards, supervising and overseeing the preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food.
- Sanitation and Safety: Facilitate the management of all kitchen equipment maintenance, as well as local health regulations, conducting sanitation audits and reporting critical issues to our general manager.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues.
- Experience preparing catered events and presenting foods for special events is desirable.
- Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable.
- Current ServSafe certification is required.
