Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Lyndon Animal Clinic. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain medical histories and symptoms from clients, providing professional communication and education.
  • Perform laboratory procedures, including hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals.
  • Assist with diagnostic imaging and implement safety protocols for fellow staff members.
  • Nurse patients, including restraining, administering medications, applying and maintaining bandages, and performing IV catheter placement and venipuncture.
  • Competently perform dental prophylaxis and other veterinary procedures.
Requirements
  • Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
  • Associate degree in Veterinary Technology.
