Powered Support Systems Technician T32

This role is part of the Air National Guard Units and is classified under the Title 32 Excepted Service. The position is for a Powered Support Systems Technician T32.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary function of this role is to act as the shop supervisor for a small team within the maintenance department, overseeing the complete operations of the shop.
The shop is staffed with one or more technicians who specialize in the Powered Support Systems Mechanic, WG, field.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Specialized Experience:
Applicants must have a minimum of 18 months of experience or training in tasks such as removing, adjusting, replacing, cleaning, and installing various parts, components, and accessories.
Experience should demonstrate a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles related to powered support equipment and systems, along with the capability to replace, fit, install, and make necessary adjustments.
Additionally, candidates should possess knowledge of the structure and functionality of the different systems maintained, as well as their interconnections.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting parts lists, manufacturer repair manuals, diagrams, and electrical schematics is essential.
Education:
Documentation such as transcripts is required to validate educational claims. To receive credit for education, proof of meeting the educational requirements for this position must be provided.
