Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Upfresh Kitchen Highland Creek. As a key member of our Accounting Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health and stability of our organization.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Data entry and posting of clients' bank transactions using QuickBooks or Xero;
  • Assisting the Principal Accountant with monthly duties, including reconciliations and financial reporting;
  • Familiarizing yourself with client reports and ensuring timely submission;
  • Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data, including bank and credit card balances;
  • Developing a strong understanding of financial reporting requirements and staying up-to-date with regulatory changes;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field;
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a food service or retail environment;
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, including advanced formulas and functions;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to collaborate with colleagues and management;
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new software systems and processes;
