Job Title: Lead Production Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Lead Production Associate to join our team at Goodwill Industries of Arkansas. As a Lead Production Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production floor, ensuring that tasks are assigned and completed efficiently, and providing training and guidance to our donation attendant associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign tasks and monitor production goals to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
  • Provide training and guidance to donation attendant associates to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Receive, sort, process, and hang donated goods according to established standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors and ensure that they receive a positive experience.
  • Adhere to Goodwill safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report any possible employee actions that could be violations of policies.
  • Attend and participate in regular employee meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that promotes teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines.
  • Equivalent to four years of high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Working Conditions:

The Lead Production Associate will be continuously exposed to moderate noise levels and will be required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel for extended periods. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Environmental Conditions:

The Lead Production Associate will work in a fast-paced production environment with moderate diversity in tasks and physical demands. The employee will be required to interact cordially and productively with a diverse group of employees and donors.

Additional Information:

The Lead Production Associate must be able to communicate clearly in English and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
