Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Low Observable Specialist to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on aircraft maintenance and ensuring the survivability of our F-35 aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise on Low Observable (LO) maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Collaborate with military and civilian maintainers to ensure effective aircraft maintenance and repair.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize aircraft downtime and improve overall maintenance efficiency.
  • Conduct on-aircraft task training and provide product briefings to customers and stakeholders.
  • Assist in resolving complex maintenance discrepancies and anomalies.
  • Utilize aircraft ground support equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Support program technical interchange meetings and program plans development.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree and 5 years of LO maintenance experience preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Active DOD Secret security clearance and ability to obtain Special Access Program clearance.
  • Working knowledge of engineering tools and experience with F-35 aircraft maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Field support or prior military experience.
  • Advanced composite and airframe repair experience.
