**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Memorial Health. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

**Responsibilities:

  • Maintain knowledge of sectional anatomy and select the proper technical factors and imaging modes to produce high-quality images.
  • Position patients and equipment accurately to ensure optimal exam results.
  • Review images for quality before completion of the exam.
  • Obtain and utilize pertinent medical history to obtain optimum exams and communicate with medical professionals.
  • Assist physicians, students, and technologists with all aspects of sonography.
  • Coordinate sonography procedures with appropriate departments and personnel.
  • Ensure exams are completed in a prompt manner from receipt of requisition to interpretation.

**Requirements:

  • Active ARDMS certification in abdomen, obstetrics, and vascular (RVT) required.
  • Healthcare Provider or Instructor BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Three to five years experience in diagnostic ultrasound required.

**Estimated Salary Range:** $65,000 - $85,000 per year. This estimate is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and other factors. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package to our employees.
