Key Responsibilities
  • Workflow Management: Develop work schedules, estimates, and status reports to ensure efficient workflow and meet or exceed scheduled commitments.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate work assignments with other departments, work closely with engineering and contract administrators, and provide recommendations for continuous quality and process improvement.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all workmanship is of the highest quality, provide training to subordinates, and develop employees' interpersonal skills to enhance workflow.
  • Safety and Compliance: Implement and monitor a continuous safety program, enforce FOD regulations, and instruct personnel on good housekeeping practices.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required; 5 years Aircraft Interior experience required or equivalent; FAA A&P license or ability to obtain a repairman certificate within 30 days.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret engineering orders and blueprints; demonstrated leadership ability; strong communication skills; logical reasoning skills; self-discipline; and ability to adapt to new procedures.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to climb ladders and stairs, work in small-space restricted areas, and lift up to 40 pounds. The successful candidate must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
