Center for the Arts Bonita Springs DBA Arts Bonita is a dynamic organization dedicated to providing arts education to the community. We are seeking talented and passionate instructors in drama, film, songwriting, digital art, and other creative disciplines to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging curricula for students of all ages and skill levels.
- Plan and lead classes, workshops, and events that foster creativity and skill development.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students, promoting their artistic growth.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a safe, inclusive environment that supports student success.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating achievements.
- Collaborate with Arts Bonita leadership on budgeting and scheduling to ensure efficient program delivery.
- Communicate with parents about student development and performances in youth classes.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support program operations.
- Coordinate with marketing to promote courses and programs.
- Build relationships with the greater community to promote arts education and program growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
- Professional experience as a working artist in the relevant discipline.
- Prior teaching experience, with a focus on arts education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Patience and ability to work well with different youth age groups.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for songwriting and music production.
- Knowledge of various theater techniques and styles.
- Ability to manage groups and maintain discipline.
- Organizational and time management skills, with adaptability and problem-solving abilities.
- Possible background check clearance (standard for working with youth).
