Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our Physical Therapy team in Vancouver, Washington. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit.
  • Manage patient flow, check-in patients, and communicate potential appointment delays in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Collect and verify patient information, including insurance and demographic details, and explain financial policies and privacy practices.
  • Process payments, maintain cash drawer protocol, and promote the use of our patient portal.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lobby environment, adhering to our high standards of patient care and safety.
  • Alert supervisor and/or administration to any suspicious activity or concerns.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; two years of healthcare front office experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare insurances, benefits, and contracts a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, employees, and the public.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and patient management software.
