Job Summary

The Maritime Administration is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Executive to lead the Office of Facilities and Infrastructure Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and effective acquisition and lifecycle management of our facilities infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct all operations of the Facilities and Infrastructure Management unit, including the direct oversight and management of the Academy's Capital Improvement Program and Facilities Maintenance and Repairs, and Equipment budget of approximately $90M.
  • Successfully lead change management efforts, such as integration of capital and repair projects, instituting project management as a discipline throughout the organization, better alignment of resources with revised processes, building and implementing strategic planning processes.
  • Interact with senior executives and managers across the Maritime Administration, Department of Transportation, and other federal agencies to provide updates on project status and to detail capital and maintenance needs at the Academy.
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior executive role, with a proven track record of managing and leading complex programs and organizations.
  • Must have a strong understanding of facilities management, capital improvement programs, and project management.
  • Must have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior executives, managers, and other stakeholders.
