Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Electrician to join our team at The Blue Collar Recruiter of Marietta. As a Commercial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical panels
  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams
  • Work with 3-phase electrical systems and experience with transformers, inverters, and lighting controls
  • Lay out, bend, and install EMT (Electrical Metallic Tubing)
  • Bend conduit with hydraulic benders
  • Have a vast knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)
  • Lift 50-75 pounds on a frequent basis
  • Work outdoors in high temperatures, sunlight, and inclement weather
  • Travel, stay overnight, work overtime, and weekends as needed
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience as a commercial electrician
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams
  • 3-phase installation experience
  • Experience with transformers, inverters, and lighting controls
  • Ability to layout, bend, and install EMT
  • Experience in bending conduit with hydraulic benders
  • Vast knowledge of the NEC
  • Ability to work outdoors in high temperatures, sunlight, and inclement weather
  • Ability to travel, stay overnight, work overtime, and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous knowledge of the Telecommunications Industry
  • Experience in Telecom HUB / Switch / COI facilities
  • Ability to use time efficiently and set daily goals
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail and accuracy-oriented
  • Professional appearance and team attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
