Sapphire Nursing and Rehab at Goshen is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to assigned residents, including promoting resident hygiene and comfort, distributing food and water, and assisting with repositioning and transferring residents.
- Ambulate and transport residents, record and total fluid intake and output, and weigh residents as needed.
- Document on flow sheets, assist with admission, discharge, and postmortem care, and respond to call lights in a timely manner.
- Perform perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care, report all observations and assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse, and take and record vital signs.
- Make beds and keep resident units clean and in order, and prepare rooms for housekeeping after resident discharge.
- Current NYS CNA Certification is required.
- Previous long-term care experience is a plus.
