Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital is seeking a Team Lead in Food Services for a full-time rotating schedule.

In this role, you will oversee Food Service Workers in the daily preparation, service, and sanitation of food and tray lines. Responsibilities include training new employees, managing inventory, delegating tasks, monitoring portion sizes, and ensuring that all service areas and equipment are maintained in a clean and sanitized condition. You will also ensure adherence to recipes, menus, quality standards, and safe food handling practices.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service

Job Responsibilities

As the Lead, you will guide Food Service Workers in daily operations, including food preparation, service, and sanitation. You will assist in training new staff, manage inventory, assign duties, oversee portion control, and ensure compliance with sanitation standards and food safety regulations.

A Certified Food Service Handler's Card is required as per local Health Department regulations. Food Handlers certification is mandatory upon hiring for all relevant positions.

Qualifications:

High School Graduate or Equivalent (Required) Food Handlers Card - Certification - Food Service Certification
