We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Assistant within our Commercial Lines Division. This division focuses on providing comprehensive insurance solutions to business clients across various sectors.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our team by ensuring timely, accurate, and friendly service to our clients, sales representatives, and insurance partners. Responsibilities will include assisting with service functions and enhancing the overall client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Account Executives and Producers with service requests and updates for existing accounts.
  • Deliver high-quality support with a positive demeanor to maintain and grow personal accounts.
  • Process transactions within customer files as directed by team members.
  • Conduct rating calculations and provide quotations as needed.
  • Prepare certificates, evidence of property insurance, and insurance schedules upon request.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Follow up on customer file suspense in accordance with agency protocols.
  • Compile and distribute documentation as required.
  • Manage supplies for the team efficiently.
  • Engage in the ongoing account development initiatives established by the agency.
  • Assist in the training of new employees as directed by the Team Director or Coordinator.
  • Utilize automation tools effectively to enhance customer service and support sales and marketing efforts.
  • Maintain familiarity with all Companies and Markets available within the Agency.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing and educational requirements while pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Commercial Lines Insurance in a customer support or service capacity.
  • Possession of a 4-40 or 2-20 State of Florida Insurance License (to be obtained within 6 months).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Typing proficiency with a minimum speed of 50 WPM, ensuring accuracy.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AMS360 software is advantageous.
