Position Summary

The primary role involves operating company vehicles to transport and deliver manufactured goods to various job sites, ensuring that materials are unloaded to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Familiarize yourself with company products, protocols, and customer service standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients.
  • Load vehicles accurately based on sales orders.
  • Organize and secure loads effectively.
  • Ensure load accuracy by obtaining verification from the yard manager before departure.
  • Transport and unload materials at customer locations.
  • Adhere to delivery schedules and directions.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of vehicles.
  • Document delivery details on sales invoices and communicate customer messages.
  • Operate trucks and forklifts safely, complying with all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
  • Follow established loading, delivery, and yard security procedures.
  • Utilize digital platforms for tasks such as uploading images and maintaining electronic logs.
  • Engage with customers to address and resolve any issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the yard and assigned areas.
  • Comply with all CDL regulations as per DOT standards.
  • Capable of transporting oversized loads.
Qualifications
  • A willingness to learn and advance.
  • Ability to respond promptly and accurately to challenges.
  • Physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in computer usage.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class A driver's license with Manual Endorsement, along with current automobile insurance and a clean driving record.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and crouch as needed.
