  • Maintain detailed knowledge of ongoing jobs by regularly inspecting work firsthand.
  • Keep management informed about the maintenance department's performance and challenges.
  • Ensure maintenance work is completed on time, within budget, and safely.
  • Mentor maintenance teams to ensure work is done correctly and provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
  • Identify opportunities for business process improvements and implement smarter and more efficient ways to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Delegate urgent or unplanned tasks to appropriate team members and ensure their safe and effective completion.
  • Apply a strong understanding of hydraulics to maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems and equipment.
  • Exhibit ethical behavior and judgment, avoiding conflicts of interest.
  • Ensure all team members, including yourself, follow safe work practices and are properly trained in company policies.
Deliverables:
  • Timely completion and implementation of projects.
  • Achieve goals and objectives relating to cost and timing.
  • Achieve project expectations and requirements for all elements of PPAP, QS9000, and other product launch elements.
  • Overall housekeeping of maintenance and production areas.
  • Efficient supply and distribution of utilities, including water, steam, electricity, natural gas, compressed air, and waste disposal.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in mechanical or electrical technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Five or more years of related experience, including supervisor experience in the maintenance area.
