Dubak Electrical Group LLC is a rapidly growing electrical contracting company seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead our projects in the Greater Chicago Area.
This role involves managing and estimating electrical construction projects in the heavy commercial and light industrial sectors, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and identifying new bidding opportunities, initiating job estimates, planning and executing awarded work, and closing out projects with the assistance of other departments.
The Electrical Project Manager will be the single point of accountability for the delivery of projects, including design, scope, cost, and schedule. This individual will provide overall direction on projects involving industrial electrical construction and maintenance, and will develop new business opportunities with clients, market sectors, or geographical areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards and their impact on project activities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficient in Word, Excel, and MS Project
- Good technical writing skills, specifically for construction proposal documents, scope of work documents, and client presentation packages
- Experience in complete Industrial Electrical Job Costing and Tracking
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pipe work, civil work, and structural work
- Ability to interface with Superintendent, request labor resources, and understand, present, and draft schedules and manpower loading
- Utilize project proposals and contracts as a management tool
- Detailed knowledge of industrial electrical project management and the estimating methods in the areas such as power, controls, automation, instrumentation, lighting, contract maintenance, data/voice, and fiber optic wiring
