Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients, including ventilation management, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve their respiratory function.
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and aerosol generators.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current RRT certification and licensure in the state of Alaska.
  • At least one year of experience in pediatric critical care.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric respiratory physiology and pathophysiology.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
