Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a leading healthcare facility in Anchorage, AK. As a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients in the ICU and NICU settings.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in the ICU and NICU settings
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of experience in a Level 3 or 4 NICU and PICU setting
- Strong knowledge of respiratory care principles and practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Current certifications in BLS, CRT, NRBC, and NRP
