We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgical Care Nurse to join our team at Surgery Partners. As a key member of our Ambulatory Surgical Center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth surgical experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient status and develop individualized care plans in accordance with physician orders and center policies.
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures, administering medications and solutions as prescribed.
- Monitor patients during procedures, utilizing the nursing process to identify and address any issues.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance professional growth and development.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current state RN license.
- CPR and ACLS certification required.
- Minimum one year of experience in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative surgical patient care.
- Orthopedic experience preferred.
