Grant Manager

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a highly skilled Grant Manager to oversee the technical and administrative direction of grant applications and grant-funded projects. The selected candidate will work closely with city and county clients, government agencies, and a team of engineers and planners across multiple offices and geographic regions to secure funding for clients' projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage grant and loan funding duties, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Analyze grant management requirements for awarded projects, developing a plan for compliance and maintaining a schedule for timely completion.
- Consult with clients and support staff to develop a plan for compliance, ensuring that all grant-related tasks are completed in accordance with the contract.
- Prepare reports and funding disbursement documents, as well as other grant management documents, to ensure program compliance and timely disbursement of funds to clients.
- Research funding programs and prepare grant applications as needed, delegating work to a Grant Writer or Senior Grant Writer.
- Lead meetings with internal and external clients and program contacts, performing site visits as needed.
- Complete assignments in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy, completeness, quality, and thoroughness of results.
- Meet company standards for productivity and profitability, taking ownership of and responsibility for work product and managing own time and workload.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Political Science, Philosophy, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of grants-related concepts, theories, principles, and practices.
- Intermediate grant writing and grant management skills, with experience working with local governments and the civil engineering field.
- Experience with funding programs such as FHWA, FEMA, HUD CDBG, EPA Brownfields, USDA, and EPA Clean Water and Drinking Water State.
- Advanced writing and research skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
