Job Title: ShopRite - Meat Clean-up Clerk

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Meat Clean-up Clerk at ShopRite Supermarkets. As a key member of our Meat Department team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized Meat Department, including equipment, fixtures, and premises.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitation duties as prescribed by the Meat Department Manager.
  • Ensure all equipment and fixtures are in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with the Meat Department Manager to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in a customer-facing environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
