Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Expertise:
    Act as the primary technical resource for manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling. Your focus will be on standardizing existing processes to improve robustness and compliance.
  2. Process Improvement:
    Collaborate with the Industrial Operations Team to develop and implement enhancements for existing manufacturing processes. You will troubleshoot and resolve process issues by identifying root causes and corrective actions.
  3. Efficiency Monitoring:
    Continuously monitor and improve the efficiency, output, and safety of manufacturing processes through data collection and analysis.
  4. Documentation Development:
    Create process engineering documentation and training materials to support standardized processes and new product launches, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Collaboration in Product Development:
    Provide engineering recommendations to R&D during product development phases to ensure manufacturability and compliance.
  6. New Product Launch Support:
    Facilitate the transition of new products into production, ensuring they meet all production, quality, and compliance standards.
  7. Training Support:
    Assist in the development of training materials and serve as a Subject Matter Expert in process engineering.
  8. Continuous Improvement:
    Engage in kaizen events and lead initiatives aimed at enhancing process effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, along with 5-7 years of experience in a pharmaceutical cGMP environment. Proven experience in processing powders and liquids, leading process improvement teams, and applying lean and six sigma principles is essential. You should also be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
