Job Overview

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 5 AM - 3:30 PM

Join our Metal Expanding Plant/Department for a temporary assignment lasting 2-4 weeks. As a Packaging Machine Operator, your primary responsibility will be to package chicken wire into plastic sleeves, ensuring they are correctly labeled and placed into boxes. This role involves lifting items weighing up to 30 pounds. The position is temporary but has the potential to transition into a permanent role based on your performance.

Employment Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with a duration of 3 months.

Work Environment

This position is fully on-site in an industrial setting. The work environment is clean and consists of a large complex that is not climate-controlled. The work schedule includes Monday to Thursday from 5 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute breaks. Occasional Friday shifts may be required. The pay rate for this position is $18 per hour.
