Position Summary:
Under general supervision, the RF Testing Specialist is responsible for establishing test setups and executing evaluations of electronic assemblies and units in accordance with established protocols, methodologies, standards, and sequences. The role may involve occasional heavy lifting of up to 60 lbs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Follow and execute written instructions accurately.
- Set up and operate various measurement and testing instruments, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
- Conduct tests to identify faults in components.
- Provide clear written and verbal guidance to production technicians for part adjustments or replacements.
- Maintain detailed records of test outcomes with a focus on accuracy.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Problem Solving and Autonomy:
The position requires a foundational understanding of job requirements, with some familiarity with detailed job aspects. Close supervision is provided, including detailed instructions and ongoing performance checks. The role primarily involves collaboration within the immediate work unit.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Formal training or apprenticeship in electronics is highly preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in the electronics testing sector is necessary.
