Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hospital Access Representative to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our revenue service operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely reimbursement of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and verify patient demographic, insurance, and financial information
  • Collect liabilities due from inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients
  • Provide excellent customer service and create a patient-friendly registration process
  • Manage patient volume variations and difficult situations
  • Resolve physician and patient requests and inquiries
  • Act as a liaison between departments
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements
  • Confirm, enter, and update demographic data, MSPQ, and bed reservation information
  • Attend monthly in-services, precept new hires, and use AIDET skills
  • Collect and analyze demographic and insurance information to maintain registration accuracy
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
