Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Caton Hill Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT examinations of patients, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greets patients, confirms image requirements, and explains procedures to ensure patient comfort and understanding.
  • Reviews patient medical history, confirms consent forms, and positions patients for examination.
  • Operates CT equipment, introduces contrast material, and adjusts settings to achieve optimal image quality.
  • Maintains equipment, examination rooms, and inventory of supplies, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Prepares patient information files, submits reports, and performs other related duties as directed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification.
  • 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or registry-eligible ARRT advanced certification in CT.
  • Graduate of a certified/accredited ARRT program and specialized training in computerized tomography.
  • Radiologic Technologist License (Virginia) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Computed Tomography within 12 months of hire.
Additional Requirements:
  • Venipuncture competency checks off or acquire within 3 months of hire.
  • Current on CEUs with ARRT.
  • Ability to stand, push, pull, and lift patients, with effective interpersonal skills and ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
