We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Caton Hill Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT examinations of patients, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Greets patients, confirms image requirements, and explains procedures to ensure patient comfort and understanding.
- Reviews patient medical history, confirms consent forms, and positions patients for examination.
- Operates CT equipment, introduces contrast material, and adjusts settings to achieve optimal image quality.
- Maintains equipment, examination rooms, and inventory of supplies, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Prepares patient information files, submits reports, and performs other related duties as directed.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification.
- 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or registry-eligible ARRT advanced certification in CT.
- Graduate of a certified/accredited ARRT program and specialized training in computerized tomography.
- Radiologic Technologist License (Virginia) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Computed Tomography within 12 months of hire.
- Venipuncture competency checks off or acquire within 3 months of hire.
- Current on CEUs with ARRT.
- Ability to stand, push, pull, and lift patients, with effective interpersonal skills and ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
