Patient Dining Associate

We are seeking a skilled Patient Dining Associate to join our team at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. As a Patient Dining Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the satisfaction and well-being of our patients by providing exceptional food service and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide patient meal service food on assigned units, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of meals.
- Communicate patient food issues and concerns to Food & Nutrition Services and interact with Nursing regarding patient nutrition needs.
- Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on NPO, clear liquid, and full liquid diets, and record food intake for patients on intake analysis.
- React accurately and effectively to changes to ensure efficient timing of services and accuracy of physician-ordered modified diets.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; Experience in Lieu of degree/diploma will be accepted.
- Certified Food Service Handler's Card (as required by local Health Department).
- Previous Customer Service Experience Preferred.
